**Australian
Shepherd Puppies are here**

Please read our Puppy Policy for
Liashasue Australian Shepherd Puppies
Here at Liashasue an enormous amount
of time, effort, training, energy and money is spent and invested in all
my Australian Shepherd Puppies.
Our dogs are fed primarily on a raw diet but do on occasions get only premium top quality kibble.
Both parents are of a suitable age for breeding being over 2 years of age prior to breeding and all required health checks and tests have been done prior to breeding. These tests include grading for Hip and Elbow dysplasia, SAVA eye tests, DNA tests such as HSF4 (primary cataract gene), MDR1, PRA, CEA.
Puppies are raised inside the house and are exposed to most if not all normal house hold noises and activities. Although I do not have small children in the house I do have small children over to visit on a regular basis. Pups are interactive with people, other dogs and cats on a daily basis and are well socialized. They have been introduced to car rides, have worn a collar and started their house training.
Puppies are sold as pets and will be between 8-10 weeks
of age prior to leaving for their new homes. All puppies will be KUSA registered
and transferable into the new owners name. Puppies will be micro chipped
as per KUSA requirements. They will have had their SAVA eye tests done,
will have been de wormed and will be up to date with their inoculations.
All puppies regardless of “show, companion or competitive performance possibilities”,
are raised the same way and as such the same amount of time, energy and
cost goes into the raising of each and every puppy in the litter and puppies
are priced accordingly. Based on this, I do not have different prices for
my puppies.
A puppy questionnaire will be sent to you prior to purchasing
a puppy. Please do not be offended by the number of questions as these questions
are to ensure that
A: The puppy is going to the right home and
B: That you as new puppy owners know what you are getting into and will
be happy with the puppy you have purchased. An Aussie is a stunningly beautiful
dog but as a breed, is not for everyone and the breeding and placement of
puppies is a responsibility that I take seriously.
I will not knowingly sell a puppy for breeding purposes only. Should there be an agreement between us as to the possibility of breeding, this will only be agreed to if I feel the pup, once fully grown, is of breeding quality and once certain requirements have been met. ie health checks and the puppy having attained either a conformation CH title or performance CH title.
As per KUSA requirements all new owner will enter into a
“sales agreement” which will be sent to you prior to purchasing your new
Australian Shepherd Puppy.
As this is a relatively new breed to the country, I am more than willing
to answer any questions you may have about the breed and the characteristics
of the Aussie etc. I also encourage new owners, where possible, to come
and meet my dogs before making a decision on a puppy.
Thank you for the time spent on my site looking at my dogs
and hopefully it has been informative and you have found the breed you are
looking for.
Please Note!!
I DO NOT BREED
WHAT ARE TERMED "MINIATURES AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERDS"
Although I really do admire these spunky
"little dogs", there are no varieties to the Australian Shepherd
as a breed. KUSA (Kennel Union of Southern Africa), AKC (American Kennel
Club), ASCA (Australian Shepherd Club of America and registry for Australian
Shepherd) do not recognize or register these dogs as Australian Shepherds
and they are incorrectly promoted as a variety of the Australian Shepherd
Breed. This little dog is now on the development register in the United
States as a North American Shepherd (NAS) and once accepted
will be know as a North American Shepherd (NAS) and NOT
a Miniature Aussie.
